ABOUT THE BRAND

Lord Primo is an independent brand and fashion design studio established in 2018. Lord Primo is the brainchild of lead designer Johnthan Stanton, currently based in Tulsa, OK.

Lord Primo follows its own formula refusing to conform to tradition. This brand accomplishes this mission by designing and fabricating clothing garments in-house with a small team of creatives.

THE FOUNDER

JOHNTHAN STANTON

Growing up was tough. Single mother. seven siblings. 18 different homes. Needless to say, I struggled. We struggled. “Worthlessness” was a familiar sentiment. I always dreamt of greatness, but my environment told me a different narrative. I had to change the story.

Fast forward to 2016, my sister was tragically killed in a car accident. My wife and I made the difficult decision to adopt her three children, making us a family of eight overnight. About the same time, I developed vitiligo, a disease that attacked the pigmentation in my skin. I’ve shared the difficulties of my life to say: my story has produced immense beauty amidst improbable circumstances. Today, my life is filled with joy, family, and love. “Blessed,” doesn’t even begin to describe my life.

Since I was a child, I’ve had to face fear and impossibility every day. I decided to flourish where I was planted, to cultivate beauty among life’s thorns and thistles. Building my self-confidence amidst life’s trauma is the catalyst for me to encourage others through Lord Primo.

Lord Primo Clothing Company is the outgrowth of my life’s story: immense beauty amidst improbable circumstances. I fuse my passion for fashion and my love of home in the Midwest.

We strive to inspire confidence despite imperfection, beauty that defies social norms, and luxurious fashion from the Midwest that will make a global impact.
